At Smart Solar Training, we identified the need for a solar training business to be owned and run by electricians & ex solar installers.

We are not your typical training company, owned by non-electricians that simply contract-in trainers to tick the boxes. We have deep industry knowledge, hands-on experience and the professionalism to impart real-world knowledge and expertise to our students.

Regardless of your prior industry experience, your hands-on, dedicated solar trainer will be there to assist you for the entire duration of the course. We are contactable via telephone support, email and online messaging via your learning portal. You will also get to ask questions or discuss learning areas of concern with your trainer during the face-to-face component of the course.

Our service doesn’t end once you have received your statement of attainment, we will also advise the best way to apply for your SAA accreditation and be contactable for general technical assistance even after you have completed your course !

Our approachable CEO has been a licensed electrician since 1992, holds Solar and Battery Design/Install accreditation & has owned a successful Electrical & Solar contracting business for many years. He decided the time was right to impart his wealth of experience to the upcoming generation of solar installers.
